THE STORY BEHIND "THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN CO.":
To honor my little brother Teddy, who passed away the day before his 47th birthday in February 2019, the This Side of Heaven Co. was born.
Inspired by the vast community of people that Teddy impacted and the kind words about him that were shared on social media, I was left wondering if he truly knew the impact of his heart in the world? I so wished that all these healing words could have been spoken to him directly while he was present with us here, this side of heaven.
While searching for a way to travel through my own grief, I was Spirit led to create these pieces of art straight from my heart to yours. The intention behind this project is to encourage a movement of love where we all call out the gold we see in each other, now while we have the chance.
We have power in our words... power to harm but also power to heal. I have learned to never underestimate the power of simple connection and communication.
One small love note can create a ripple of truth; it is a small way to make a BIG difference in someone’s heart. But, can you imagine if we sent one million love notes out into the world? Will you join us?
